AFFILIATE PROVISIONS UPDATE Effective February 11, 2005
Trademark Brand Keyword Bidding
Effective February 11th, 2005 affiliate keyword bidding on any of our trademark names or any variations thereof is prohibited. In the event that Collectibles Today adds any additional trademark brands, these terms will be communicated to you accordingly and all consequences will apply. Affiliates who are found to be in violation of this policy will be subject to the following consequences*:
Consequences
Affiliates who are in violation of our policies will be notified via Commission Junction Mail as well as any other email address that is provided through their CJ publisher account. It is up to the affiliate to continuously check their Commission Junction mail for such notices as failure to comply with these policies within the given time periods will result in deactivation. It is vital that you carefully read and understand this new policy as well as the consequences for any violations. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us: affiliates@collectiblestoday.com and we would be more than happy to help you.
Visible URL's in Google listings
We would also like to notify you of some changes that will need to be made to visible URL’s in Google
listings due to the recent changes in Google’s Ad rules. We strongly encourage all search affiliates to keep up their efforts, however the new Google ad rules permit only one ad per visible URL to be shown. To clarify, if there is more than one ad with the same visible URL, only one will be shown. You are not authorized to use the URL's listed below since we will be using them and you are therefore required to display your own URL. Not following this policy will result in the initiation of the consequences as outlined for the Trademark Brand Keyword Bidding Policy.
We highly recommend that you switch your visible URL's if you are currently using these domains as your visible URL's as soon as possible. Please also note that any variations of these URL's should not be used either.
*Commission Junction Publisher Service Agreement. Clause 2.3 allows for "the termination by an Advertiser to terminate You, one of Your Web sites or subscriptions email lists, and/or Sub-Publisher(s) from the Advertiser's Program or a Campaign upon 7 days written notice with effect from the 8th day from such notice ("Publisher Termination for Convenience").
